Local Expert and Captain David Lang had the pleasure of fishing with Daniel on the Reservoir. Daniel was traveling from Ormond Beach looking to discover what Rodman had to offer. This beautiful place came out to play. The fishing conditions were perfect. Captain David got them out in the morning and off the water before the afternoon storms began.

Daniel had a blast catching numbers of largemouth bass. Several nice fish were landed including Daniel’s personal best. It was a big fish weighing in at 8 pounds 6 ounces. This fish was weighed, captured, and released back into the wild to be caught again. Daniel was very proud of his trophy catch and is submitting it to Florida’s Trophy Catch Program.

Daniel could not have been more excited to land his personal best largemouth on this fishing trip. Captain David is looking forward to getting back on the water with Daniel again soon!

Just shortly after this fishing charter, Captain Ken Walker was adventuring out on the Reservoir. He had the pleasure of fishing with The Hendrickson family. They were traveling to North Florida looking for a big bass adventure. Yet again, the reservoir showed up and helped them all land their personal best largemouth bass.

The Rodman Reservoir is a great place to explore, especially when you love the outdoors. When you are a fishing captain, it is awesome to be able to get everyone on their personal best.
Ryleigh, who was 12-years-old caught a beautiful 7.2-pound bass. Stephanie, the Mom, caught the 7.10-pound largemouth. Michael, Dad, got his Father’s Day present on Rodman with a monster trophy bass weighing 10.14 pounds. This bass surpassed his previous personal best by over 4-pounds.

The Hendrickson Family could not have asked for a better day on the water. Family time while bass fishing is the perfect opportunity to bond together. Captain Ken is looking forward to getting back on the water with this wonderful family in the near future!
