Captain Mark Rose had the pleasure of fishing with Ralph and his son Andrew. They were traveling to Southwest Florida on vacation and wanted to get in some bass fishing. When they found out about peacock bass fishing in Naples, they had to explore it.

The fishing conditions were not the best with rain and cooler weather. Peacock bass generally are not fans of these conditions but it was a fantastic day of fishing. Weather did not play a factor in the strong bite down the canals of Naples. Ralph and Andrew caught 25 peacock bass along with 3 largemouth bass.

They absolutely loved their day along the Golden Gate Canals. The action was great and they will be back for more in the near future. Captain Mark is looking forward to getting back on the water with them again soon!

It was not long after that amazing fishing trip that Captain Mark was back out on the Golden Gate. He had the pleasure of fishing with repeat clients Lori and her husband Curt. They were traveling to Florida looking for some sunshine and warmer weather. Naples Peacock Bass Fishing was an additional outdoor activity with their favorite Captain.

Lori and Curt wanted to cross off peacock bass fishing off their bucket list. Captain Mark helped them accomplish that in Naples, FL. The peacock bass were biting really good for them with over 20 in the boat. Most were in the weight range of 2-3 pounds. They also caught several quality largemouth bass. Lori and Curt will be back for some more Florida Fishing or Pennsylvania smallmouth bass fishing this summer. They always have a great time bass fishing and love to explore different places. Captain Mark is looking forward to getting them on more fish in the near future!

The same day, Captain Mark Rose adventured out on an afternoon fishing trip. He had the pleasure of fishing with repeat clients Ed and Steve. They were traveling to Florida as well to enjoy some beautiful weather. Their main goal was to catch largemouth bass and peacock bass on a fishing trip. Naples, FL was the best location to do so!

February Golden Gate Fishing 2Water conditions were warming up on this fishing trip. Increased water temperatures fired up the peacock bass helping them land over 15 peacock bass and largemouth bass. Ed and Steve had a blast catching everyone. Peacock bass are a fun species to catch as they are hard fighting and extremely colorful.
