Delray Beach Bass Fishing 2Captain Robert Miley enjoyed fishing with Richard Chizmar on Lake Ida. Richard is a novelist with several books out. While taking a little vacation time, he wanted to explore and catch peacock bass. Captain Miley put him on some quality peacock bass all trip long. It was an awesome day on the water.

The most effective method for catching peacock bass is live bait. Richard caught 15 nice peacock bass weighing up to 3.5 pounds. He also caught several quality largemouth bass. Conditions were overcast most of the day, but that did not stop the bass from biting. They were stacked up in one area that produced most of the fish. Peacock bass is moving on and off beds making for a good time to go catch them.

Captain Miley is looking forward to fishing with Richard again in the near future!
