Multiple Florida Fishing Species
Multiple Florida Fishing Species can be caught in fresh water across the state. Naples is a great place to experience the wide variety of fishing on the Golden Gate Canal System.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Ty and his grandfather Tony. They really wanted to get out on the water and catch peacock bass in Naples. Fishing conditions were good but could have been better compared to how they have been in the past. It was a clear day with a nice breeze to keep us cooler.
Ty and Tony went after the peacock bass with artificial baits but did not have any luck. They had a few misses on top water. After switching to live bait they caught around 6 peacock bass with one weighing 4 pounds. That is a healthy peacock bass!
After catching peacock bass, they also went out to target tarpon and snook. They managed to put some decent ones in the boat. It is always exciting to be able to catch multiple species while Florida Fishing Freshwater. We had a great time out on the water and I am looking forward to fishing with them again in the future. Now is the time to come catch the fish of your dreams. Don’t miss out on your adventure today!
