Clewiston was the best destination for them as the bass were on the outside edges and weed lines. The East wall of Clewiston is a productive spot for anglers to catch bass all year long.
Jason and his family traveled from Michigan to experience this beautiful lake and it blessed them. Captain Rob put them on over 20 largemouth bass in their short trip. The winds were blowing making it an interesting day on the water. Everyone had fun and Captain Rob is looking forward to getting back on the water with this lovely family in the near future!
They caught 6 largemouth bass on artificial baits on their short fishing trip. The most productive baits on this fishing trip were soft plastic worms, rattle traps, and flukes. Antonio and his son caught bass up to 3 pounds and will be back in the near future for more bass fishing action!

It was not long after this fishing trip that Captain Rick was back on Lake Okeechobee. This time he adventured out of Okeechobee City. He had the pleasure of fishing with Jason and his son Jake and his friend Cody. The action was hot and heavy with artificial lures. Flukes, senkos and spinner baits came in handy on this fishing trip. Jason, Jake, and Cody landed over 30 largemouth bass on artificial baits and only one bass on wild-caught shiners.
They could not have been happier to have a day on the water like this one. Bass fishing is getting better by the day and they will be back for more. Captain Rick is looking forward to getting them on even better fish!
Clewiston legend and Captain Mark Shepard was out on the water shortly after looking for some quality largemouth bass. He had the pleasure of fishing with long-time repeat client Jim Robertson. It was another blessed day on Lake Okeechobee with numbers of bass in the boat. Jim wanted to get on and off the water but enjoy every moment. They adventured out for a quick 4-hour fishing charter on a beautiful day on Lake Okeechobee. The sun was shining and the bass were biting.
Jim caught several bass over 3 pounds with the best being close to 5 pounds. It was a great day and Jim will be back for more in the near future!
The next day, Captain Mark Shepard was back at it out of Belle Glade, FL. He had the pleasure of fishing with extra long-time repeat clients Art and David. They were back here on Lake Okeechobee looking to experience some excellent bass fishing for two days. Lake Okeechobee blessed them with some amazing fish with both artificial and live bait. The majority of fishing was on artificial lures. Wow Factor Crank Baits and topwater baits came in strong with several bass over 5 pounds.

Finally, Captain Rick had the pleasure of fishing with Craig and his son out of Okeechobee City, FL. This awesome father-son duo was traveling from Wisconsin looking to get into some warmer weather. Lake Okeechobee was on the list of outdoor adventures they wanted to embark on. The most successful method on this fishing trip was fishing with wild-caught live shiners. Craig and his son caught some great numbers on their 6-hour fishing trip putting two bass over 5 pounds in the boat. Along with these quality bass, they also caught a largemouth bass in the 3-4 pound range.

Every cast was a blast for them on this beautiful lake. Ernst caught the biggest bass of the trip weighing in at close to 5 pounds.

Just shortly after this fishing trip, Captain Mark was back out on the water with his long-time friend and repeat, Jim Robertson. Lake Okeechobee was really starting to fire upon this fishing trip. Jim was traveling from Texas looking to cash in on the action. Weather conditions stabilized causing the bass to start to eat.
It was an awesome day on the water for Jim. He caught a lot of quality largemouth bass weighing up to 6 pounds. The bass were biting on both artificial baits and live bait. Crankbaits, top waters, and soft-plastics were effective. As well, you can’t go wrong with wild-caught live shiners!

It wasn’t long after this fishing trip that Captain Mark Rose was on the water. He had the pleasure of fishing with Dan and his wife Chrissy. They were repeat clients that wanted to experience Lake Okeechobee for the first time. Captain Mark suggested bass fishing out of Belle Glade, FL for a fishing adventure of a lifetime.
Lake Okeechobee treated this lovely couple well. Stable weather and warm temperatures fired up the largemouth bass. Live bait and artificial baits were highly productive on this fishing trip. Chrissy caught her personal best largemouth bass weighing in at 5.5 pounds. They also caught several other fish in the class of 4-5 pounds. Dan caught some quality fish to conclude a fantastic trip on the water.

Rich was traveling from New Jersey looking to spend some time on the water. His last trip was for peacock bass and he loved it. Local Legend and Captain Mark Shepard had the pleasure of fishing with Russ out of Clewiston, FL. Russ was traveling from Long Island to get out of the harsh winter. While doing so, he did not expect Florida to have its crazy weather. Changing conditions did not stop the bass from biting on this fishing charter. Russ was on vacation looking to get away from building construction gear and metal work.
Captain Mark had a fantastic time talking with Russ about many different things. Russ caught some decent numbers on this fishing trip. The biggest bass of the trip weighed in at 5 pounds. Russ had a great time catching bass on artificial bait. Most of the fish were caught on jigs and soft plastic. The largemouth bass is filled with color and is very clean. You can tell they are getting ready to spawn; now is the time to catch them!

The same day, Captain Brian Brown had the pleasure of fishing with Jim and Kenton out of Belle Glade, FL. They adventured out of Slims Fish Camp in search of quality largemouth bass. Steve and Taylor caught over 60 Florida largemouth bass on this fishing trip. The action was fast and furious all trip long. Most of the bass weighed between 3-4 pounds. The biggest bass weighed in at over 6 pounds. Wow Factor Crank Baits put a majority of bass in the boat. These crankbaits were designed by Captain Mark and will be on the market soon. The other bass were caught on Bass Assassin Soft Plastics.

The same day, Captain Mark Rogers adventured out of Clewiston, FL. He had the pleasure of fishing with Rusty. Rusty was traveling from Minnesota looking to enjoy a day of bass fishing on Lake Okeechobee. Conditions were windy to start making the bait move around and the bass to follow. Wild caught live shiners were the most successful day of catching Florida largemouth bass while Clewiston Bass Fishing.
Rusty had a great time catching bass with Captain Mark. He put numerous bass in the boat weighing between 3-4 pounds. Also, Rusty topped off the day with a 6.5 pound Florida largemouth. This was his personal best and was beyond excited to catch it.

Just shortly after this fishing trip, Captain Brian Brown adventured out on Lake Okeechobee out of Belle Glade, FL. The southeast corner of the Big O produced big time on this fishing trip. Captain Brian had the pleasure of fishing with Mason on an afternoon fishing trip. Wild caught live bait were the preferred method for catching largemouth bass.
Conditions paired up for a fantastic day on the water. A light breeze with cloud cover made for a magical day on the water. Captain Brian took Mason to an area filled with Pennywort mats and caught several nice largemouth bass. After picking away at them, the big bass came out to play. Mason got what he was searching for with a beautiful female bass weighing in at 8 pounds. It was a BIG green panda that put the icing on the cake for a fun afternoon.
