First Lake Okeechobee Largemouth Bass
One of the best parts about Florida Fishing is the ability to experience something new. Catching your First Lake Okeechobee Largemouth Bass is most certainly at the top of that list.
Today, I had the pleasure of fishing with Jack and his father Jack. This was their first time fishing on Lake Okeechobee.
We smoked them on live bait today. They had a blast catching over 40 largemouth bass. Jack almost broke his personal best with a fish just under 5 pounds.
It is that time of year that the weather is beginning to cool down. On the next upcoming moon phases those big females will begin to move in along with the males.
The males are even putting up a fight like you could not believe. They were incredible happy to have such a great fishing experience for their first time.

Exploring Different Fishing Locations
Lake Okeechobee is one of the best bass fishing locations in the state of Florida. Sometimes the most exciting part of Florida Fishing is Exploring Different Fishing Locations in order to test your knowledge.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Ted and Will traveling from Canada to catch a Lake Okeechobee largemouth. They have never fished on the lake and wanted to while visiting Florida. For the first two hours, we struggled and ground to find some fish. It took some time for me to pick up on what the weather pattern could be with the weather conditions that were in place.
The wind was blowing in a unique direction and I had to pull out multiple locations from my repertoire that could have worked. We checked out some of the spots to find I was onto something. Once we started fishing, it was on and the bass was biting well. We filled up the boat quickly with numbers of bass. Ted and Will could not find any giant fish but had fun catching the amount they did.
Choose your weapon
They ran out of living bait fairly quickly and caught multiple on artificial baits as well. Swim jigs and crankbaits were the most effective baits to throw. Ted and Will had a blast out on the water. They were super nice guys and some awesome people to fish with.
We are looking forward to fishing with them again in the future. This season is due for some excellent fishing adventures whether on Lake Okeechobee or the variety of other locations we offer here. Don’t miss out on your adventure today!

Multiple Day Fishing Adventure

I had the pleasure of fishing with Bill Blagg and Miles Brooks, some of my favorite clients. They are traveling here for the Bill Blagg Magic Show.
While they come to Florida, they always like to get out on the water. Clewiston, Florida is their favorite location to hunt for largemouth bass. The water levels are at 17 ft above sea level.
We mixed it up on our multiple-day adventure with a day of artificial and a day of live bait fishing. They even came out to the farm where we enjoyed the fine cooking Miles prepared.
It is always a great time out on the water with these gentlemen. They have a personality like no other and are always making me laugh.
We could not find the giant fish but with this weather change that has occurred, it is about to turn on. The males have moved in and the females are not far following.

Special Bass Fishing Trip
Lake Okeechobee is a world-renown lake that has produced incredible fishing all year long. You may not experience a Special Bass Fishing Trip every day you go out.
I had the pleasure of fishing with David and Colin traveling from the UK to fish this beautiful Lake. It was such a special trip because they traveled across the world to fish Lake Okeechobee.
The bass were biting today and we saw some great numbers in the boat. David and Colin were looking for that big female that roams the waters here. They put over 15 largemouth bass in the boat up to 4 pounds.
It is still early for the big girls to be moving off the main lake so we were not able to land what they were looking for. Fishing can be that way but it will keep them excited for the next trip they adventure on.
David and Colin had a blast and I really enjoyed talking about their fishing stories. They traveled to Scotland to go fishing but nothing compared to Lake Okeechobee.
This season is going to provoke very interesting experiences on the Big O. New waters are opening up and we don’t want you to miss out on your adventure.

Birthday Celebration Bass Fishing Trip
When you are traveling to Florida, you must experience what the fishing has to offer. A Birthday Celebration Bass Fishing Trip is all you need when coming to Lake Okeechobee.
Today, I had the pleasure of fishing Tobias and his son Brogan. The young man really knew how to fish and loved every minute.
Lake Okeechobee is doing very well. We caught over 80 fish with a variety of different techniques. We had a blast catching them on artificial baits and live as well. Many of the bass were in the 3 to 4 pound range but we caught a variety of them.
Tobias and Brogan were having a birthday celebration. Brogan turned 13 recently and this was what he wanted. It was truly an awesome trip that will be in my memories forever.
