I had the pleasure of fishing with Kurt, my long time friend from the FLW tour. He brought along his father who has been experiencing some health issues. It was awesome to be part of this amazing trip.
Yet alone, the bass fishing was absolutely fantastic. They came out fishing for two day and boated over 100 largemouth bass. No big or trophy bass made it to the boat but that wasn’t what this trip was all about. It was about just spending some quality time with his dad while catching some excellent numbers.
As the weather gets better, the artificial bite will start to really turn on. I am looking forward to fishing with these amazing gentlemen again in the future. Bring your family down to Lake Okeechobee and create your own memories that will last a lifetime.

Female Largemouth Bass Fishing
The best memories are created with great friends and being out on the water. Florida is the perfect place to create new or reminisce on old memories. It is Female Largemouth Bass Fishing time on Lake Okeechobee and we would not want you to miss out on your adventure with a great friend!
I had the pleasure and absolute blessing to fish with my long time friend Jim again. Every Tuesday he has been coming out with me to see if he can find himself his next personal best largemouth bass. The lake was a blessing but not that gracious on this trip.
When you are traveling to Lake Okeechobee, be aware that you can catch not only largemouth bass but also crappie and other pan fish while visiting. Jim took a limit of crappie that we will be eating after the trip.
Along with catching some great numbers of crappie, we also crushed the largemouth bass. Jim loves to throw artificial baits along with live shiners. Live shiners will always help produce the best bite on the water. We have some beautiful weather to come making for some excellent fishing ahead.
Jim caught two large female bass weighing 5 and 7 pounds. We had a blast on the water and he could not be more excited to catch these quality fish. As always, I look forward to fishing with Jim again soon.

Clewiston Bass Fishing Adventure
These winter months have been brutal for the whole United States. Here in Florida, we have experienced cold fronts but on this Clewiston Bass Fishing Adventure, the weather was beautiful.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Joe, Tyler, and Jim. They were traveling from Pennsylvania to thaw out from the wintery season. Florida was the perfect place to escape to.
We had a great fishing trip and a great start to the day. The gentlemen saw some great numbers and quality of largemouth bass. One of the best things you can do on a fishing trip has them catch the fish they were hoping for.
Joe, Tyler, and Jim all caught their personal best largemouth bass. The biggest fish was roughly 5 pounds. They were ecstatic to be able to catch the fish they did. It was a dream day on Lake Okeechobee for these gentlemen.
These months ahead are the best for bass fishing here on Lake Okeechobee. Don’t miss out on your adventure next time you are traveling to Florida.

FLW Tour Fishing Partner
One of the many benefits of Florida Fishing is the ability to connect with people that love what you do. A long-time friend and FLW Tour Fishing Partner adventure out on Lake Okeechobee in search of some quality largemouth bass.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Kurt, a super great friend of mine. We met while on the FLW Tour and fished together for many years. Now, he comes back to Lake Okeechobee every year to fish with us.
Clewiston is the perfect Florida bass fishing location when you are on the hunt for some great fish. Kurt comes to strictly throw artificial baits. Flipping mats is the preferred method and we caught some quality largemouth bass.
Kurt put some numbers in the boat but we coming for that big bite. He caught a gorgeous largemouth weighing in the 5-6 pound range. It is always nice to connect to a bass when flipping the cover.
It was super nice to fish with him again. He will be back really soon to go after it again. We also both enjoyed some BBQ back at my house reminiscing on old memories.

Great Client Fishing Trip
When we embark on a Great Client Fishing Trip here in Florida, they always make my day. I love reconnecting with amazing friends and putting them on some of the best fish. Florida Bass Fishing is starting to warm up!
I had the pleasure of fishing with Mr. Jim Robertson and his friend Okie from Sweden. We share so many memories together and enjoy getting out on the water multiple times a year.
Our trip was a grind to find some of the quality bass we were looking for. We went to our big fish spot and caught a handful of largemouth bass. The bite was slower than normal but we still caught some quality bass.
After moving to another spot, we started landing multiple quality 4 pounders. They are fun to catch and pull some drag in open water. On the next day, we continued to catch 4 pounders on artificial and live bait.
Conditions were great for fishing with a slight breeze but we could not land that big fish we were hoping for. Jim will be back for more of this incredible action and another chance to catch the giant he is in search for.
