A Good Moon Phase And A Good Bite
This is Capt Mark Shepard with your lake Okeechobee fishing report out on the water today all the way from Arkansas Seth and his son and I’ll tell you what we had a wonderful morning great folks to spend the day with we have so much in common and really enjoyed just hanging out chatting and stuff love the outdoors, they love the creeks and stuff back home. they fish light line light tackle, today went after some big fish, and we had ourselves a blast his son a senior in high school got the biggest one of his life is about 6 1/2 pounds numbers are fantastic a really really good average lot of good quality fish, this week has been producing a bunch of good fish, and we’re in a good moon Phase Everything’s looking right, and I love seeing this water coming down in Okeechobee the more it comes down the happy i get it is a little tricky navigation for people who don’t know how to run this late. But I’m telling you what when the water gets low the fishing It’s awesome getting in to nice steady weather now. We got one more cold front coming this week, and it just looking really really good and my favorite time of year is coming that’s when we start doing the light tackle and topwater crankbaits and all the fun stuff just a hoot of a time but this is Captain Mark Shepard, get down to Florida and Don’t miss out on your adventure on the big O.

This is your Lake Okeechobee Fishing Guide Mark Shepard with a Fishing report. Well folks, over this whole past week done a lot of artificial fishing, and catching some pretty good numbers. We are really really enjoying doing some light tackle have a lot of people doing lite tackle this past week catching some pretty darn good size fish and having a lot of fun, and we did get into a little bit of heavy tackle a little flipping a little frogging and mixed it up a little bit, but overall it’s been a pretty good week a lot of wind but the artificial bite is really really getting strong down here, and I’d like to mix it up, I do different things there’s just a lot of great adventures, and my favorite time of the Year is coming up, water is coming down a little bit. Its going to make for a lot of good top water action and a lot of fun out here, so when you get a chance. Hi Folks this is your Largemouth Bass Lake Okeechobee Guide Capt Mark Shepard with my fishing report, well folks over the past week hey I’ve been slacking i need to know to keep up with my reports a little bit but a lot of good fish, fishing with some old time clients and just having a hoot of time catching some up to about 9 pounds and then had to take off and do a trip to Daytona do to Darrell Gwynn foundation what a wonderful deal fished with long time partner Ryan Newman number 31 caterpillar car trying to get a win him and me been 2nd 3rd but no matter what it’s all about raising money for those wheelchairs so its just an incredible experience always an honor to be part of such a deal but back on lake Okeechobee you guys are familiar with my long time client Jim Robertson been with me forever does sometimes 20 days a year with me we got out today brought his brother Malcolm, little brotherhood competition Jim Robertson great angler determined angler his brother kind of a novice but he can catch up but Jim is definitely the most talented angler well as the competition went today Jim had the most numbers but his brother put it on him with some good good fish they both had super good quality some big o fish numbers are great lot of fun lot of laughs i love seeing two brothers go at it with a little competition always just kinda add some excitement to the day let me tell you what folks when you come to Florida don’t miss out on your adventure no matter what they say about the water going into the estuary’s and all that lake Okeechobee is beautiful it’s alive and it’s incredible this is captain mark shepherd don’t ever pass up on an adventure we all go through this world once folks.

Largemouth Bass Fishing Guide Captain Mark Shepard
This is your Largemouth Bass Fishing Guide, Captain Mark Shepard, with a fishing report that lasts three days.
Every day has been an adventure, from good to bad weather. But doing a 3-day trip with four guys from Boston is always a challenge in a good way. Captain Dave and I teamed up on this deal, and we had Jim, Matt, Dave, and Mark. Two of them had our names, it’s pretty cool and easy to remember.
We mixed it up on the first day with some artificial; numbers were okay and nothing big. But a lot of fun they had a blast of light tackle fishing, and the second day got windy. So now to do some live bait fishing, we had a much better day. And it brought better quality fishing than yesterday.
We finished up with the live bait and just put the hammer down on them; adding significant numbers and excellent size fish was a lot of fun, and these guys are hilarious they cracked Dave and me up big time we just had a ball.

Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing Captain Mark Shepard
hey folks this is your Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing Captain Mark Shepard with a fishing report well folks you know it’s kind of a kicker for us guys down here and it makes us giggle inside we would get these northern folks and these folks we had four people me and Kelly walker we’re doing a trip together as a two boat deal and their from Quebec and they come walking up no socks one of them has a pair of shorts on the rest all dressed real light 55 degrees at the marina feels okay and i’d like you guys got any more clothes we get out on the lake and 1 hour into it and they were just miserable cold shivering and shaking and everything else seen this many of times so when you come down here in January February bring some extra clothes but anyways they’re booked to do a 6 hour trip we cut it down to 4 they got really really cold wind was going about 35 miles an hour so this limited to what we could do but it turned out awesome we had a little tournament between 2 boats my guys end up just barely pulling it off they were behind there and they pulled off a double at the end but both boats did fantastic Kelly’s boat had the biggest fish but we got the best numbers just a fantastic deal we made the best out what mother nature threw at us we’ve been through a lot of rain just January has been one tough a son of a gun we’ve been suffering through it but we got through today and just had ourselves a blast weather supposed to turn around a little bit got one of my favorite clients come down fishes quite a bit comes down once year and he’s been with me for a long long time and he just loves to flip were going to go out see what we can do hopefully we’ll get you some good pictures. well folks this has been your Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing Captain Mark Shepard with the fishing report, tight lines until next time.
