Missed Opportunities Bass Fishing
Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing will keep you on your toes when traveling to Florida. Missed Opportunities Bass Fishing can keep you wanting more of this amazing fishery.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Jim and Susan traveling to Florida for what the bass fishing had to offer. Susan has never been on Lake Okeechobee and she was in for a blast.
Fishing can get tough this time of year but we managed to have a trip of a lifetime. Susan missed a couple of fish she may have nightmares about but there is always next time. While fishing is mostly about catching, the one that gets away keeps you hunting for another.
Summertime fishing is all about taking your time and letting the bass take the bait. Heavy vegetation does not make it easy for the bass to do this leading to many missed opportunities.
Toward the end of the trip, Jim and Susan got into a grove and put many quality largemouth bass in the boat. They caught up to 20 bass weighing from 2 to 4 pounds.
It was a hot day but one that will last forever. We had a great time on our short morning trip and I am looking forward to fishing with them again.
Do not miss out on your adventure on the Big O!

Lake Okeechobee offers the best bass fishing in the state of Florida. You can enjoy some of the Most Productive Largemouth Bass Fishing Trips for trophy fish you have ever experienced.

Most Productive Largemouth Bass Fishing Trips
I had the pleasure of fishing with Walt and Berry from the great state of Mississippi for the largemouth bass action on Lake Okeechobee.
Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing has been phenomenal this season, and we had a very blessed day. Overcast conditions kept the morning cooler than usual for this time of year. A nice breeze as well made the bite incredible.
Walt and Berry caught over 30 largemouths, with the most significant just shy of 7 pounds 8 ounces. We ran out of bait, catching them up early in the day. They switched over to artificial bait and caught them on them as well.
Once the sun came out of the clouds and the water warmed, the bite slowed down, and we called it a day.
I look forward to fishing with Walt and Berry again in the future, and you should not miss out on the outdoor adventure of a lifetime!

I had the pleasure of fishing with Troy and Dustin traveling from Illinois. We had a lot of fun catching bass at different locations on the lake.
The grass structures are incredibly important to fish this time of year. We were on a short trip and threw a variety of different baits.
Bass Assassins’ “Forked Tail Shad” has produced an incredible bite on the grass lines. Also, the Berkley Fishing “Grass Pig Jr” was highly effective bait coming across and through the flats.
Dustin caught a number of quality largemouth bass with two fish that he will never forget. One of the bass weighed 7 pounds 4 ounces. The other fish weighed 6 pounds. He was incredibly excited to catch those fish.
The bass fishing has been really good this time of year and we do not want you to miss out on your adventure. We had a great time and I hope to fish with Dustin again in the future.

Insightful Bass Fishing Tournaments
Lake Okeechobee can breed some of the best bass fishing trips across the whole state. We love the opportunity to share the passion of the sport on Insightful Bass Fishing Tournaments to individuals that love to learn more about largemouth bass.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Taylor, who has been fishing with me since he was 11 years old. He has been studying the sport and has aspirations to become a professional angler. He has just graduated high school and is going up to FSU to join the fishing team.
We have been fishing tournaments for many years and have always done well. During Practice, he caught his personal best on artificial weighing 9 pounds.
We finished strong with a 7th place check and had a great time throughout the tournament. We threw multiple different soft plastics from
Bass Assassin and Berkley on some of the best rod and reels from Abu Garcia. Bass Assassins “Logger Toad” in the flats crushed them as well as the Berkley Power Bait “Ripple Shad.”
Water levels are up, making navigation much easier. This is also light tackle time of year where you can have a lot of fun catching big bass that put up a great fight!
