Captain Nick Pasquarello had the pleasure of fishing with Mike and his friend Chip. They were traveling to Florida in search for some vacation time from Buffalo, NY. While doing so, they wanted to get out on the water and experience the Florida Everglades. The bass fishing has been fantastic making for a great time.
If you are looking for constant action, the Florida Everglades is the way to go. Captain Nick showed them all the productive spots for both peacock bass and largemouth bass. Peacock bass came best on live domestic shiners. Largemouth bass ate the shiners as well but topwater baits early in the morning brought some quality fish to the boat.
Mike and Chip had a fantastic time fishing in the Everglades with bass up to 5 pounds. You truly can’t beat a day like this. Captain Nick is looking forward to their next adventure in the near future!
It was not long after this fishing trip that Captain Nick was back out on the water. This time, he had the pleasure of fishing with Garrett and his good friend Geoff from Clearwater, FL. They drove all the way to the Florida Everglades to catch peacock bass. Alligator Alley is a fantastic fishery to catch peacock bass this time of year.
Captain Nick showed up and put them on some great fishing. The peacock bass and largemouth bass were cooperating on this fishing trip. Both Garrett and Geoff caught peacock bass on this trip.
They had several double-ups with both largemouth and peacock bass. It was a blast and they were ecstatic to make the trip down South.
