Just shortly after this awesome fishing trip, Captain Robert Miley explored the waters of Miami’s Airport Lakes. He had the pleasure of fishing with Kenny and his buddy Travis. They were visiting Miami, FL on vacation as they needed a break from homebuilding. While down here from New Hampshire, they wanted to get on the water and go fishing.

Captain Bob took them out on an 8-hour fishing adventure. The fishing was fantastic and the weather was warm. Kenny and Travis caught a lot of peacock bass on this fishing trip. Most were in the range of 2-3.5 pounds. They also caught a freshwater Snook, which was an added bonus. Travis caught the Snook on an artificial jerk bait. It was an awesome day on the water.

It was not long after this fishing trip that Captain Bob was back out on the water. He had the pleasure of fishing with long-time repeat clients, Sandy, and his golfing buddy Vito. Generally, they do a lot of golfing together but also spend some great days on the water. They ventured out on Airport Lakes in search for exotic peacock bass.

Windy conditions stacked the peacock bass in key locations. Once the wind died down, the bass began to bite. Sandy and Vito landed over 20 peacock bass in their quick fishing trip. Most of the fish weighed between 2-3 pounds. The biggest two came in at 5 pounds, making for a great day on the water!
