How the Group Caught Fish
The pair used four dozen shiners and also tried artificial lures, including topwater presentations. Live shiners were the most productive approach on this historical trip. The largest peacock bass weighed approximately 3.5 pounds, and the largest largemouth bass weighed about 5 pounds. The captain reported water temperature near 74 degrees.
