However, there are many other lakes to fish in the state, including thousands of bass fishing lakes throughout Northern, Central, and South Florida. Southeast Florida and Southwest Florida lakes have great lakes that are every fisherman’s dream, and all can be fished in a similar way.

There is also the canal/lake system off of Naples and Cape Coral, which is known for its extensive system of freshwater and saltwater canals and lakes. Southwest Florida Bass fishing also includes The Everglades, which is one of the last unspoiled areas in the state for fishing.
