He allowed us to be free with everything but also was right there if we needed help. Taught us alot, even explained the difference kinds of fish. The best! Booked a trip with captain Richard Hernandez and had an amazing day. I've been a captain myself for 35 plus years so I expect certain things out of a captain. Rick did not disappoint, explained what we'd be doing and was very personable. We caught a pile of Peacock, a couple of largemouth and my buddy was lucky enough to land a Clown Knife fish. Would highly recommend Captain Rick to anyone looking for a Florida adventure.

We each caught a lot of singles. The most fun was when we had multiples on at the same time. Doubles, triples and a quadruple. Great experience Fished with Capt Rick today as a last minute charter. From start to finish he was the ultimate professional yet fun and entertaining and the fishing was really great. Even though he felt it was a little slow we still caught over 20 fish in 4 hours. With three of us fishing we had 3 peacocks on the line within the 1st 2 minutes of fishing!! Really a great trip and I definitely would recommend him to any angler!!

5 different species We caught a ton of fish and the action never stopped. Rich kept us on fish the entire time and we caught 5 different species, but a huge majority was the Peacocks. Fishing with Rich was like fishing with one of our long time friends. We will definitely do this again in the future.

Great time! We booked a 4 hour trip with Capt Richard in late June. We had an amazing time! He is a very cool and funny guy, which made the trip that much more enjoyable. We caught fish the whole 4 hours. A bunch of peacock bass, as well as a large clown knife fish! Great time! Bad weather day was still a blast. Capt. Rick was great company and we caught 40 + peacocks (one pushing 5lb), several lmb, and a cat. No travel time just fishing. Would recommend Rick to my closest buddies.

Great experience We stopped counting after we each had 10 big peacock bass, biggest one for a 4.5 pounds. Most about two 2. The water is crazy clear. You could drop a lure at the edge of a dock and watch the fish come out from underneath the dock after at your bait. Captain Rick awesome. Super friendly very convenient from the time you left the dock to when we returned back to the dock you were fishing the whole time. No travel time involved. You can start fishing the moment you got on the boat. Great time was had.

Tight Lines! Capt Richard is a great guide. Had Colton and I laughing the whole trip. Comfortable is a good word to use fishing with him. Always had a new rod to grab if you broke off or made a bad cast.. Heck! We didn't even leave the dock and I had caught my bucket list fish. A giant Peacock. He even got me a top water bite. Wife and I did this trip and had a blast . We caught 16 fish total if I counted right . My wife caught all 4 largemouth bass, the rest were peacock bass. He told us the plan and what to expect, we were fishing right away after entering the boat. Wife caught the first peacock bass about 100 feet from the launch site . We were catching fish right away. Had a double hookup and multiple back to back catches. The guide makes sure you stay on fish and will move around to keep you in the action .

I was visiting the area for work and had some free time on a weeknight to do something and I found Captain Richard on Google. Luckily he had an opening and told me to come on over for an evening fishing outing. From the time that we left the dock, Captain Richard was very clear on how we were going to fish and where we were going. We hooked up on a Peacock bass within 5 mins of being on the water and what a fight they were!
