We Caught more Bass then we could Shake a Stick at!
Hey this is Captain John Leech, we’re out with Ron Hayes today. Going to put him on the phone so he can let you know how we did, because we CAUGHT THEM!
“Hi, this is Ron Hayes from Ohio, this is the second time I had the pleasure of coming down and fishing with John Leech in the last four months. And although we didn’t catch any big wall hangers this time, we caught more bass then we could shake a stick at. We used topwater and worms and he put me on the fish all morning. Ended up between John and I we caught (110) one hundred and ten bass, multitable (4) four and (5) five pounders. And just had a blast and highly recommend if you want to do some fishing, get a hold of Captain John Leech.”

Just had Phil Powers out fishing, he got a real nice fish it was just over 7 pounds. I’m going to put him on the phone,
“Hey, I had a great time fishing with Captain, John Leech we went to a lot of places on the lake and we had good luck today. I caught a (7) seven-pounder and I had a really great time, he did a good job helping me find the fish.”

All of the bass were released unharmed, all of the fish are always released where they were caught.

Ben Reynolds and his two sons came fishing with me for two days. I have to say that taking young people fishing that is hungry for the knowledge of fishing is one of the most rewarding things a professional guide can do. To watch them have an experience of a lifetime putting that knowledge into action and watch their faces light up with the feelings of success is so rewarding, that the pay becomes secondary.
Colton nicknamed ( “Quickdraw,” so named for his impatient hook set) got the first trophy of the day on our first morning. A 10-1/2 pound trophy Lake Toho bass. Huntington (“Garfish,” nicknamed for his ability to feed the garfish all of his shiners) got the big fish of the second day. A 9-1/2 pound largemouth bass.
I am sure that many fun days on the water are still to come for this family, as the smile, joy, and excitement on all of their faces tell you they are a family HOOKED ON FISHING!
