Swim Jig Bass Fishing
Lake Okeechobee is one of the most unique and beautiful places to fish for largemouth bass. The North end will provide you with something you have not seen and a true outdoor adventure. When traveling to Florida, enjoy Swim Jig Bass Fishing for a trip of a lifetime.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Justin and his dad Roland traveling from West Virginia. They were enjoying some vacation time in Disney and broke away for a Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing trip.
This was going to be a half artificial and half live bait fishing trip. We picked our bait up at Garrad’s bait and tackle. The conditions did not play in our favor on this trip and we had a slow morning.
Even though it was tough, we put some quality largemouth bass in the boat. After using up all the live bait, we started to throw artificial baits. We caught fish on both baits.
Throwing swim jigs over the hydrilla was the best part. Justin and Roland loved catching bass on these baits. They put over 25 fish in the boat weighing up to 4 pounds.
We had a great time on the water and I am looking forward to fishing with them in the future. If you need to escape, there is no better way to do it than a Florida Fishing trip. Don’t miss out on the fishing adventure of a lifetime next time you are visiting Florida.
