Here is your Rodman Reservoir Fishing Update:

Captain David Lang had the pleasure of fishing with Bill on the Reservoir. Bill was traveling from South Carolina looking to explore something unique. Rodman Reservoir bass fishing was an excellent option for him. The action was red hot on this fishing trip with wild-caught live shiners.

Bill boated over 17 quality largemouth bass on this fishing charter. From the first cast to the last, the action was amazing. The biggest fish of the day weighed in at 7 pounds 12 ounces. Several others weighed in at 7 pounds along with plenty of bass between the 4 and 6 pounds. You truly can’t top a day like this!

Bill had such a great time with Captain David on the water. Once he was off the water and was within cell service, Bill booked a second trip for the next day with his son!

Bill brought out his son Mitch on the next trip. This Father-Son duo put a smack down on the bass. It was a great day on the water yet again. Mitch caught his personal best largemouth bass weighing in at 6.5 pounds. Bill and Mitch will be back for more action in the near future. Captain David is looking forward to their next big bass adventure!

It was not long after this fishing charter that local expert and Captain Ken Walker was out on the Rodman Reservoir. He had the pleasure of fishing with long-time repeat client Mike K. Mike brought along his fishing buddy Joe and Joe’s son Chris. It was a quick 4-hour fishing charter in the morning with wild-caught live shiners.

This was Chris’s first attempt at bass fishing and he got his first trophy largemouth bass weighing in at exactly 8 pounds. After this big bass, these gentlemen landed over 15 bass. Joe caught several bass in the 5-6 pound range. Mike had the biggest fish of the day. He caught a 7 pounder, 8.15-pound bass, along with a giant 9 pound 5-ounce bass. It is days like these that keep bringing people back to this beautiful place in North Florida.

The next day, Mike and Joe came back out on the Rodman Reservoir with Captain Ken. Conditions changed with a North East wind of up to 15 miles. Generally, that would shut down the bass but not on this fishing trip. Mike and Joe had an exceptional day of bass fishing on Rodman.

These gentlemen landed over 28 largemouth bass. Joe started the day out with a big bass weighing in at 8 pounds 5 ounces. Shortly after that, he landed a bass weighing in at 9 pounds 11 ounces. Of course, “Big Bass Mike” will not be outdone. This man has some incredible luck when it comes to fishing landing a monster 11-pound largemouth followed up with an absolute trophy monster Rodman bass weighing in at 12 pounds 8 ounces. The females are still spawning and you can catch your trophy on your next visit.

Mike and Joe are looking forward to getting back on the water with Captain Ken in the near future!
