March Lake Ida Florida Bass Fishing- Palm Beach County

March Lake Ida Florida Bass Fishing/em>

This is Capt Kirk Osborne with my fishing report for Lake Ida.

Today I had the pleasure to fish with Barry, who traveled to Florida to catch the elusive peacock bass. The fishing has been really good this time of year.

Lake Ida provides a perfect environment to catch the quality peacock bass you are looking for. Barry and I talked a lot this trip and he wishes to bring his grandchildren back with him next time.

Our first spot produced some fish but they were the wrong fish; within 15 minutes Barry caught 3 largemouth bass. We continued to fish the spot, catching an additional 17 largemouth.

Stepping away from productive spots is sometimes important in producing the result you want. Pulling up to the next spot, I was optimistic I would land Barry a peacock.

The first fish was a 3 pound 8-ounce peacock bass. It did not stop there, catching several other quality peacock bass. March Lake Ida Florida Bass Fishing has been amazing and as the months get warmer, the peacock bite will pick up even more

We had a great day out on Lake Ida and I am looking forward to their return. He had a blast bringing in over 50 fish.

It all started in 1969 when my father started taking us to the Everglades to go fishing. First, it was small panfish, but then one of my best memories. It was when my dad took an old worm(motor oil green) off of his hook and put it on my pole I caught a 4 pounder and it was then I was hooked on Bass Fishing.
