Healthy Smallmouth Bass Fishing Charters
The end of summer is here but the smallmouth bass and the variety of species on Lake Erie are still biting. Healthy Smallmouth Bass Fishing Charters can excite you and keep you coming back for more action.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Ralph, Art, and Tom who are traveling from Pittsburg. They wanted to experience what the smallmouth bass fishing still had to offer and they were in for a great trip.
These gentlemen fish with me every year. They generally fish during the spring but wanted to change it up this year.
The smallmouth bass were biting and they were biting well. We caught over 20 smallmouth and multiple walleye. The bass was healthy weighing up to 4 pounds.
A net rig with a Senko and a lead head was the most effective technique to catch the bass. Focusing on the North East to Shades Beach helped put the quality fish in the boat.
Water temperatures were at 75 and the fish loved it. They will be back for more action in the future and I am looking forward to fishing with them again in the future.
