One of the advantages of fishing with us here is the ability to explore our waters with a local expert. Our experts have years of experience fishing Lake Okeechobee and know the waters well. If you are looking to get out on the water, explore wildlife and catch big bass all trip long, now is the time to do so. Captain Brian Brown and Captain Robert Alfano will put you on the fish!
Captain Brian Brown had the pleasure of fishing with friends and client Ed Reed. They adventured out of the north end of Lake Okeechobee near Okeechobee City. Ed brought along his brother-in-law Mike on this 4-hour fishing trip. They were in-store for an excellent time while bass fishing and telling stories.
One of the great parts about fishing with repeats is that you get to reminisce on old trips and stories. You are always laughing and having a good time. Luckily, you also get some great fishing and bites in the mix.
Okeechobee Mr. Consistent
When you are adventuring out on Lake Okeechobee, make sure to try live bait fishing. Live bait is the most effective method for catching big numbers and big bass. Ed and his brother-in-law enjoyed their time on the water catching a handful of largemouth bass weighing up to 5 pounds.
The bite is on and the big bass is moving in. Captain Brian is looking forward to Ed’s next adventure on Lake Okeechobee.
Just shortly after this fishing trip, Captain Robert Alfano explored Okeechobee City. He had the pleasure of fishing with Ray and Chris. They were traveling from San Antonio looking to spend some time on Lake Okeechobee. Okeechobee, FL is a great destination to do so.
It was another live bait fishing trip. Ray and Chris spent 6 hours on the lake catching over 20 largemouth bass. Most of the bass were in the weight range of 3-4 pounds. The action is starting to heat up. These were all males getting the spawning grounds ready for the females.
Captain Rob is looking forward to spending more time out on the water with Ray and Chris on their next visit.
Lake Okeechobee is alive and well. The bass is feeding strong early in the morning and later in the evening. Now is the time to land that trophy.
