Fall Fishing Lake Erie

Fall Fishing Lake Erie

Fall Fishing Lake Erie is a great outdoor activity for the family. Smallmouth Bass Fishing has been consistently producing excellent fishing trips.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Jeff and Jay traveling from Colombus, Ohio. They wanted to experience some of the action before it was too late.

The fishing conditions were windy and the fall patterns are starting to become announced. It will continue to get better as the temperature drops.

Ned rigs, drop shot and spinnerbaits were all very effective methods on this trip. Jeff and Jay caught around 15 smallmouth bass. Most were in the 3 to 4-pound range with a personal best of 5 pounds.

If you want to fish in this part of Lake Erie, the Hammermill to Crib region of the lake is your best bet.

We look forward to fishing with Jeff and Jay again on another great outdoor adventure.
