Risen Lake Butler Bass Fishing

Risen Lake Butler Bass Fishing

One of the many benefits of living in the state of Florida is the ability to spend time outdoors with your family. Risen Lake Butler Bass Fishing has been on the top of the list for this amazing couple.

I had the pleasure of fishing with David and Jenny traveling from North Georgia. They brought their family down to visit other family members here in Central Florida as well as go to Disney World.

The Butler Chain of Lakes has risen over 2 feet since the Hurricane hit the state. It has affected the fishery some but not that much. The bass is still biting quite well.

David and Jenny caught right around 15 largemouth bass with the biggest being 3 pounds. We found some schooling bass in the cove. They were a lot of fun to catch and watch them eat our bait.

Throwing live bait on top of schooling bass is always a great method to putting bass in the boat. It was a blast to be able to fish with this great couple.

They travel a lot to the state and I am looking forward to the next time we fish together. We were glad the weather held up well.
