Quick Okeechobee Fishing Trip out of Okeechobee City, Florida

Quick Okeechobee Fishing Trip

Lake Okeechobee is one of the best lakes in the nation to catch largemouth bass. A Quick Okeechobee Fishing Trip out of Okeechobee City on the North End of the Lake will have you hooked for a lifetime. Bass Fishing is finally starting to take way here in Florida for an epic season ahead.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Jeff Parks, a repeat of mine. He loves to come catch bass on Lake Okeechobee. We went out for a quick 4 hour trip out of Garrads Bait and Tackle.

Largemouth bass are feeding up for their spawns that are going to occur this whole season. The best method to throw at them is wild caught live shiners. When conditions are perfect, the bass tend to bite the best. There was a slight breeze and clear skies on the Big O today.

Jeff does some kayak fishing on the west coast but can never get access to something like this. He caught several quality largemouth bass weighing up to 5 pounds. I am looking forward to fishing with him again on his next adventure to Lake Okeechobee.

The Lake is looking like it is going to be a fantastic this season. Get your trips booked today as we are filling up fast. Don’t miss out on your Okeechobee Adventure today!
