Florida Rain Storm Fishing
Weather conditions are highly unpredictable here in Florida. At any moment, things can change and rain or clouds can take control of the day. During this fishing trip in Miami, we battled through Florida Rain Storm Fishing producing some excellent catches!
I had the pleasure of fishing with James and his son. They were traveling from New Jersey and wanted to catch a Florida Peacock Bass. There is no better place to do that than in Miami. We fished out of Airport Lakes near the Miami International Airport.
Fishing conditions were not the best but we made it happen. Rainstorms came in and caused us to take cover under bridges waiting for them to pass. One of the benefits though is that these bridges do hold better peacock bass.
James and his son caught 15 quality peacock bass. The largest weighed 5 pounds which made for a memorable day on the water. We stayed as dry as possible and had a fantastic time.
I am looking forward to fishing with them again in the future. They will be back for more action from these hard-fighting peacock bass. Don’t miss out on your adventure to catch one next time visiting. See you on the water next time!
