Fished Florida Everglades Today

Hello everyone, this is Captain Roger calling in another fishing report.

I had the pleasure to fish with Mr. Chuck from Wisconsin,  we fish a four-day in the Florida Everglades today. We went out and for the first few hours it was a little slow and then pickup up pretty good. We caught about (30) thirty to (35) thirty-five large-mouth bass.most of then were keepers, meaning over 14″ long. But with an hour to go, Chuck hooked into a fish…it came to the surface and we could tell it was a big large-mouth bass. He landed it, it’s the one you see in the pictures, I estimated it at 8 lbs.  Most of the fish came on a wacky style rig, most were caught on a wacky rig Bass Assassin Fat Job.

The weather today was gorgeous, a little overcast, a little breezy. Looking forward to see more of this weather as we come in to season.
