I had the pleasure of fishing with Guy, his wife Valarie, Danny, and Janet over the course of two days for some Copperhead bream. They had a blast catching these delicious pan fish.
Light tackle can provide you with some fun activities this time of year. We were using 4lb ultra-light rigs and targeting the bream on the bottom.
The bream are bedding and you can catch them on crickets or worms. When you drag them across the beds, they cannot resist.
We had a lot of action with over 30 in the boat. They eat really well and they caught themselves a feast.
I am looking forward to fishing with them again on the St. Johns River for bream or largemouth bass that you can catch year-round.
