Adam, John, and Jeff were traveling from Mississippi looking to explore what South Florida had to offer. While here on vacation, Miami peacock bass fishing was a must. Yo-Zuri Bass Fishing 1The bite was slower to start. It took Captain Bob a moment to find and locate the peacock bass. Once he did, it was game on. They were throwing yo-zuri jerk baits for most of the time. Adam hooked into a monster peacock bass with this jerk bait. It weighed 6-pounds, a true Florida Trophy Peacock Bass. They also caught several other quality peacock bass in the 2-3 pound range with a total of 20 in the boat.

Every angler on the boat had a blast catching bass on this fishing trip. Artificial baits stole the show but live bait catches were also in the mix. Water temperatures were in the mid 80s making for a great day on the water. The wind was blowing posing challenges but clearly challenges that were overcome.

Captain Bob is looking forward to exploring Miami again with these awesome anglers and travelers!
