Big females are moving into the shallows as the months roll on. Once the water temperature meets the optimal temperature, bass will begin to spawn. We have seen an increased amount of males moving in. They prepare the beds for the females before they come in.

In order to have success in this big lake, getting out with a local expert is essential. You never know what you are going to catch each trip you are out. Our experts can show you new techniques and methods to catch largemouth bass. Be sure to pick their brain with any questions you may have about fishing and they can assist you.

Check out this December Kissimmee Bass Fishing Report with our Local Experts:

Productive Kissimmee Bass Fishing 2One of the greatest joys I have is sharing along my passion for fishing. I had the pleasure of fishing with Ray and Joe. They were traveling from New England looking to cash in on some Florida Bass Fishing.

Lake Toho Bass Fishing was incredibly productive on this fishing trip. Ray and Joe enjoyed catching bass on artificial baits. The most productive baits were soft plastic worms, topwater poppers, swim jigs, flukes, and more.

When looking to catch bass on Lake Toho, focus on the thick grass structures including hydrilla. Ray and Joe caught over 25 Florida largemouth bass on this fishing trip. The biggest fish caught weighed in at 3.5 pounds.

It was great to see the quality and numbers being caught. We are in store for some quality fishing ahead. I am looking forward to fishing with Ray and Joe again in the near future!” – Capt John Leech

Shortly after this fishing trip, Captain Steve adventured out on Lake Toho in Kissimmee, FL:

“I had the pleasure of fishing with Bob and Diane. They were traveling from Melbourne, FL wanting to catch some bass in Central Florida. While doing so, I took them out on a bass fishing trip on Lake Toho.

Sunny and calm conditions made for a productive Kissimmee bass fishing trip on the water. Bob and Diane enjoyed catching largemouth bass on their quick 4-hour fishing trip. When it comes to bass fishing in Central Florida, live bait is the way to go.

Bob and Diane enjoyed catching numbers of fish all trip long. They put over 15 largemouth bass in the boat. Most of the fish were quality strong males and the biggest weighed in at over 3 pounds.

Bob and Diane love action and will be back for more of it. I am looking forward to our next adventure in the near future.” – Capt Steve Niemoeller

It was not long after this fishing trip that Captain Brent Nelson was out on the water searching for some bass.

“Today, I had the pleasure of fishing with Michael on a solo fishing trip. Unfortunately, hot and calm conditions made for a tough bite. Michael was traveling from Sweden and came to experience what bass fishing was like. Productive Kissimmee Bass Fishing 3

All the action he could get was exciting for him, especially when traveling from Sweden. We could have used some wind but we made the best of it. Sometimes, you have to find pockets that hold fish on points or under mats.

The big fish were biting but could not stay on the hook. Michael managed several bass in the 3-4 pound range. He had two other fish over 5 pounds but they spit the hook before getting to the net.

Michael had a blast fishing on Lake Toho. He will be back on his next adventure to Florida. I am looking forward to fishing with him again soon!” – Capt Brent Nelson
