New Lake Toho Personal Best

New Lake Toho Personal Best

Central Florida has some of the best fisheries in the state of Florida. Florida Fishing has been exceptional this season. We had a New Lake Toho Personal Best on this trip out.

Today, I had the pleasure of fishing with Ivan traveling from Lousiville, Kentucky. He fished with me last year on the Saint Johns River. He caught his personal best then and wanted another on this trip.

Lake Toho Bass Fishing blessed us with another great trip. We caught around 30 bass, most in the range of 3-4 pounds.

One of the best moments of this sport is seeing someone catch their personal best and any big fish. Ivan caught his new personal best, weighing 7 pounds 8 ounces. It is always exciting to catch a beautiful fish like that.

Most of the fish we caught were on wild-caught shiners. Trolling or free-floating them up against grass has been effective for these big bass.

I am looking forward to fishing with Ivan again, as he has family in the Villages.
