Captain Joe Gruny adventured out on the Miami Airport Lakes. He had the pleasure of fishing with Aaron who was traveling from South Carolina. Also, his friend Llyod came along from Atlanta, Georgia. Peacock bass fishing in Miami is a huge draw and very exciting outdoor activity. Once you hook one, you will be coming back for more.

The Miami Airport Lakes blessed them on this fishing trip. Peacock bass were biting right from the start. Aaron and Llyod caught 28 peacock bass on this fishing charter. Most of the bass were in the weight range of 2-4 pounds. 4 pounds and above is a very nice quality fish when it comes to peacock bass. The trip was anchored with a 5.14 and 7.02-pound peacock bass. These fish are considered giant and trophy-sized fish. They are the fish you are looking for when freshwater fishing in Miami.

Captain Joe is looking forward to their next adventure. It may be hard to beat this trip, but there is always more room to have fun and catch more trophy-sized bass!

Just shortly after this incredible fishing adventure, Captain Robert Miley explored the The Falls Canal System. Captain Miley had the pleasure of fishing with Rick. They were traveling from Greensboro, North Carolina looking to catch some exotic peacock bass. The Falls Canal System is the perfect destination to do so!

If you are looking for a true urban fishery, the Falls is the place to come. Along with its great feel and wildlife, expect to catch some giant peacock bass. Rick wanted to come to explore the Falls with a fly rod. Peacock bass can be caught on flies but some days can be more difficult than others. If you are looking to have a great day on the water, live bait is the way to go.

Rick and Jacola caught over 12 peacock bass on their quick 4-hour fishing adventure. The biggest bass was just over 5 pounds, which was another giant peacock bass. Peacock bass fishing is getting really good especially when the waters are warm.
