Fishing with Captain Steve Niemoeller on the Butler Chain of Lakes

“The new addition of our pontoon fishing boats made bass fishing in Central Florida a lot of fun. The repeats that have fished with me in the past are now coming back to explore the waters on this open boat. Luckily, I can take the pontoon boat up to the waters near Orlando as well.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Larry, Gene, and Phil. They were traveling from Wisconsin looking to spend some time on the water. While doing so, setting the hook into a largemouth bass was a must.

Breezy and Cloudy conditions made for an interesting bite. During these conditions, the live bait bite can be slower than normal. Luckily, throughout our 4-hour fishing trip, we found some nice fish.

Larry, Gene, and Phil caught over 10 largemouth bass on their quick fishing trip. Even though the numbers were down, they had a blast spending time with each other. It was their first time on the pontoon boat and they will most certainly be coming back for more action.

I am looking forward to fishing with them again in the near future!” – Capt Steve Niemoeller

Fishing with Captain Devin Dickerson on Lake Toho in Kissimmee, FL

Lake Toho is a great fishery to catch some big bass. Actually, it is one of my favorites. I love this time of year because the bass begins to spawn and you can start to see better numbers of quality fish.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Dave and his family. They were traveling from Ontario Canada looking to cash in on some Florida bass fishing. Everyone climbed aboard the pontoon boat and off we went for a great day on the water.

Breezy and cloudy conditions this time produced a strong bite for this family. They caught over 20 largemouth bass on this trip with some big ones in the boat. Most of the fish caught were in the 4-5 pound range. The biggest fish caught by Dave’s daughter weighed in at just over 6 pounds.

There is nothing like getting out with the whole family and landing some big bass. Live bait was the perfect method for everyone to have fun and enjoy their time fishing.

I am most certainly looking forward to fishing with them again soon!” – Capt Devin Dickerson

Fishing with Captain Steve on Lake Toho:

“This trip, I had the pleasure of fishing with a wonderful family out of Colorado. Josh, Kelli, Sawyer, and Lane all joined us out on a pontoon boat on Lake Toho. Lake Toho Bass Fishing was a great way to get them in the outdoors.

While just looking to soak up some sun and explore the outdoors, this family really enjoyed their fishing adventure. Their 5 and 2-year-old got to get exposed to fishing at a young age that could have them addicted for a lifetime.

Trips like this make my job as a Captain so amazing. I love sharing my passion for fishing with generations to come. Sunny and Breezy weather created a nice bite on this 4-hour fishing trip.

They put over 10 bass in the boat with no giant fish caught. It was less about the fishing and more about getting out on the water to see more of what Kissimmee had to offer.

Everyone, including myself, had a great time and I am looking forward to seeing them out on the water next time!” – Capt Steve
