Great Day Okeechobee Bass Fishing

Great Day Okeechobee Bass Fishing

April is the time of year that the water temperature begins to rise, and the bass begins to bite. Today was a Great Day Okeechobee Bass Fishing.

This morning I enjoyed fishing with Barrett and his buddy Eric. The bite has been steady out of Slims Fish Camp right now.

Overcast conditions made the day cooler with light winds. The bite was a little slow, but it turned on quickly.

As we put the fish in the boat, we laughed more and more. We ended up with a nice largemouth bass weighing 6 pounds. Also, they caught multiple three and 4-pound largemouth.

In the afternoon, I enjoyed fishing with Robert and his son Ben. Ben wanted to start out with artificial, and away we went.

We gathered around swim jigs and chatter baits and picked up a few fish here and there.

The bite turned on when they made the switch to wild-caught shiners. They produced the quality they were looking for and multiple double hookups. It was a Great Day Okeechobee Bass Fishing.
