Golden Shiner Fishing Charter
One thing about bass fishing in Florida is that live bait reigns supreme. If you are looking to catch numerous big fish and some big numbers, especially on Lake Okeechobee, you want to throw live bait. Come down, relax and enjoy putting big bass in the boat on your golden shiner fishing charter.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Tom and Rick. They were traveling from California on vacation and wanted to go to Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing. After two days of fishing on the water, they are ready to return and get more action.
We had a great day out on the Big O. It was windy, and the conditions were not the best, but we still made it happen. When conditions get tough, you have to be patient and focus on grass structures that will hold fish. Put your bait there long enough, and you will undoubtedly get a bite.
They went through 8 dozen golden wild shiners in 2 days. We lost count of how many fish were caught, but the two biggest fish weighed 5 pounds each. It truly was a great time to fish with them and watch these two great friends laugh and have fun.
I look forward to them returning shortly and getting hooked up again. The Lake is only going to get better with a strong warming trend. Don’t miss out on your adventure to catch a bass of a lifetime!
