Freshwater fishing Report Harris Chain of Lakes

Hey everybody this is the Freshwater fishing Report Harris Chain of Lakes with Capt Steve Niemoeller. Today I guided Greg over on the Harris Chain of lakes we fished out of Buzzard beach. Greg just came down and bought a house over there him and his wife and he wanted to learn the lake a little bit so we went out and we started out fishing with wild shiners and did pretty good. We were fishing some sea walls and canals and we caught 8 or so and we had quite a few bites. The fish were really bad about grabbing the shiner and just carrying it off and then spitting it out or whenever you get to set the hook they would come to the surface then spit it out whenever they got to the surface.

We did that for a while and then we went out and we did some artificial fishing taught him how to flip he knew how to pitch pretty good, but we do a lot of flipping on the Harris chain so we went out and we flipped and caught a few on some worms, trick worms, Tap out Baits made by bass assassin and a zoom trick worm. I think he’s pretty excited about getting moved down here that way he can fish the place all the time and I look forward to seeing him around on the water out there.
