Lake Dexter is a lake located just .6 miles from Cypress Gardens, in the state of Central Florida. Fishermen will find a variety of fish including blue catfish, largemouth bass and bluegill here. Whether you’re baitcasting, fly fishing or spinning your chances of getting a bite here are pretty good. So grab your favorite fly fishing rod and reel, and head out to Lake Summit. Summertime highs at Lake Summit typically tend to be in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 70's. Through the wintertime highs are typically in the 70's while Lake Summit overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 50's. Camping at Lakeshore Palms Travel Park is always a magnificent experience!
