Captain Ken had the pleasure of fishing with Pat and his son-in-law Joe. Pat was traveling from Oklahoma and Joe was traveling from Jacksonville, FL. While Pat was down here on vacation visiting his daughter, he wanted to explore what Florida Bass Fishing had to offer. Both Pat and Joe were in-store for an excellent time on the water.

When you come to fish on the Rodman Reservoir, you can expect something truly unique. Whether it is the scenery or wildlife, you get the full experience of what this beautiful place offers. The bass fishing was spectacular on this fishing trip. Conditions paired up just right for an action-filled day on the water.

Unbelievable Days on the Water

Pat landed his personal best bass weighing in at 8lbs 7 ounces. Joe also landed his personal best bass weighing in at a whopping 9 pounds 5 ounces. They totaled the day with 14 largemouth bass. Pat and Joe both had a great time and are looking forward to their next adventure on the water.

Just shortly after this fishing trip, Captain Ken adventured back out with repeat clients. He had the pleasure of fishing with Don and Michele. When they explored what the Reservoir had to offer last time they were hooked. So hooked that they brought along their son Matt and his fiancé Angela.

Angela was on her first bass fishing trip and had no idea what to expect. Luckily, the conditions were great on this trip and the weather was beautiful. The bite was slower early in the morning but fired up around 12 PM.
It is always nice when the women steal the show. Once the big bass got fired up, Angela found out what bass fishing was all about. Angela caught 2 beautiful largemouth bass weighing in at 6.5 pounds and handled them very well. Everyone else was catching quality bass in the weight range of 5-6 pounds.

At this point, Michele was behind the eight balls and had some catching up to do. Everyone on the boat was teasing her that she was saving her bites for a big fish and she proved that to be correct. Michele landed a monster trophy Florida largemouth bass weighing 9 pounds 13 ounces. That big fish tried everything in her power to get away but Michele showed that bass who was in charge.

Don, Michele, Matt, and Angela will be back for more of this incredible action. Captain Ken is looking forward to their next adventure in the near future!

The bass fishing is starting to get really good here on the Rodman Reservoir. Now is the time to come to cash in on the action. If you are looking for the bass of a lifetime, come explore what the Rodman Reservoir has to offer. We look forward to seeing you on the water next time!
