February Florida Fishing North End of Lake Okeechobee

February Florida Fishing

This is Capt Brian Brown with your Lake Okeechobee fishing report.

I had the pleasure to fish with Bill and Sherry out of the North End of Lake Okeechobee today. The 4 hours ticked away while we caught them up. The February Florida Fishing has been heating up.

Locating fish is one of the hardest things to do while you are fishing but the exploration of it always leads to a good day. Moving around gives you better opportunities to find the fish you want.

Once the bass started to eat, they ate. They put in the boat about 20 fish with the biggest largemouth right around 4 pounds.

The conditions led to a great day on the water. It was right at the end when it started to get really windy. We were glad to get off the water once they got up to 20 miles an hour.

It is time for you to get out of the cold weather and come down to experience Florida Fishing at its finest, until then enjoy and tight lines!!
