Excellent Florida Bass Fishing Charters During Summer

Excellent Florida Bass Fishing

Florida is the Bass Fishing Capital of the World for plenty of great reasons. One of the main reasons is that you can catch bass year-round here. You can also experience different species of bass as well. When you are planning your next fishing vacation, keep excellent Florida Bass Fishing in mind. All across the state, you can catch quality bass.

Central Florida and North Florida are two excellent bass fishing destinations. There are 100s of lakes that produce great fishing all year long. The Rodman Reservoir is a legendary fishery that continues to provide amazing experiences. As well, Lake Toho in Kissimmee is a great way to get out on the water. Bring your friends or family along for fishing worth coming back for.

Greg, his wife Dena, and his Dad John and Mother Ruth came out fishing with Captain Steve Niemoeller. They were located in North Florida and wanted to experience something new. The Rodman Reservoir was their bass fishing destination and they were in store for a great fishing trip.

One of the best parts about being a Captain is the ability to teach or introduce fishing to new anglers. This was Ruth’s first-ever fishing trip. The Rodman Reservoir blessed them greatly on this 4-hour bass fishing charter. Windy conditions allowed or forced us to tuck ourselves into a spot I would not normally fish. As a result, we found a whole bunch of fish.

Family Fun Time

Excellent Florida Bass FishingGreg and his family caught over 30 largemouth bass with the biggest right at 6.5 pounds. Most of the fish fell in the range of 3-4 pounds. They ran through their 6 dozen wild-caught shiners fairly quickly. Conditions changed fairly quickly after the winds picked up and the bait was used up.

Either way, they had an amazing time on the Rodman Reservoir and are looking forward to doing it again in the future. Captain Steve is most certainly looking forward to catching more big bass on the reservoir or showing them a different lake in Central/North Florida.

Furthermore, Captain Steve went out on another fantastic fishing trip shortly after the last one. Tran, his wife Kim, and their two boys Dylan and Aidan were traveling from Georgia looking for some Central Florida Bass Fishing. They went out exploring Lake Toho in Kissimmee, Florida.

Captain Steve had two more first-time fishermen on the boat on this fishing trip. Dylan and Aidan, ages 5 and 9, were fishing for the first time. They really enjoyed the boat ride and catching largemouth bass. The family board 24 largemouth bass and everyone got to catch a 5-6 bass. Fish ranged between 2-4 pounds. Wild-caught shiners under a cork were the most effective method in catching these bass.
