Captain Joe had the pleasure of fishing with Jeffery, Reese, and Paul. They were traveling to get away from the cold but happened to bring it with them. While visiting, peacock bass fishing was something that sparked their interest. They adventured out in Fort Lauderdale, FL at Markham Park for exotic peacock bass.

Colder weather can slow the bite down but it won’t stop the bass from eating. Largemouth and peacock bass both were biting on this trip. Water temperatures were in the 70s making for a later afternoon bite when the sun came up.

This family enjoyed just being out on the water and having a change of scenery. They caught 10 nice peacock bass and several largemouth bass to top it off. They will be back for more of this action in the near future.

Just shortly after this awesome fishing trip, Captain Joe adventured out on the Miami Airport Lakes. This time, he had the pleasure of fishing with Todd. Todd was traveling from Oklahoma in hopes to knock off a species on his bucket list. Captain Joe made it happen on this amazing fishing adventure in the beautiful freshwater systems of Miami, FL.

Warmer waters in Miami promoted a strong bite on this fishing trip. Weather conditions were just right to reel in several-quality peacock bass. Todd caught 17 peacocks on this fishing trip weighing up to 4.5 pounds. There is nothing like putting someone on fishing they have been dreaming about catching.
