Everglades Jerk Bait Fishing
If there is one place that has been exceptional this year for bass fishing it would be the Florida Everglades. The Everglades came alive as the water levels dropped and the largemouth bass came off the flats. Come experience an Everglades jerk bait fishing trip that will rock your world.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Fred, Steve and Don. They were traveling from up north and wanted to catch some big numbers of largemouth bass. The Everglades was the place to accomplish that.
Artificial fishing in the Everglades is the only method you need. The action has been exceptional and on some days you can catch one on almost every cast. Soft plastics generally work the best but there are times when jerk baits can crush them as well.
We used watermelon red senkos and flukes on this fishing trip. Chug bugs and poppers were also effective top water bait. The bait that produced the best was jerk bait that sank 4-5 foot. The color did not matter as much but shad, silver or gold can land the amount you are looking for.
Fred, Steve and Don had an awesome day on the water. They caught 75 largemouth bass weighing up to 4 pounds. Mile Marker 41 is the location you need to stop on when traveling along Alligator Alley.
Don’t miss out on this incredible bass fishing action down here in South Florida. Now is your time to catch the most bass you have ever seen!
