Steel Shad Bass Fishing Charter
A Steel Shad Bass Fishing Charter can have you hooked on the bait on the first fish. The Butler Chain of Lakes is the perfect place to catch some quality largemouth bass with them.
Today, I had the pleasure of fishing with Randy traveling from Utah. His daughter and her friend Andy also came along traveling from Cape Canaveral.
We caught about 15 largemouth bass weighing up to 4 pounds. A few were caught on wild-caught shiners but most were caught on a tri-colored steel shad lure. It has been very effective this time of year.
The bass are holding in 20 to 30 feet of water. Ducking away from the wind was a smart move. It was a really nice day for the group.
We are looking forward to helping Andy catch a bass on his own rod but it was broken on this trip. I know either myself or another one of the great Captains here will make it happen.
