Florida Freshwater Peacock Bass Fishing Adventure- Lake Ida

This is Capt Mike Groshon with your Lake Ida fishing report.

South Florida has so much to offer. Palm Beach County especially has some great fishing opportunities surrounded by urban upscale water front properties. The Bauman Family has traveled from Missouri to experience a true Florida Freshwater Peacock Bass Fishing Adventure on Lake Ida.

Lake Ida provides you with the best of both worlds. It has Florida largemouth bass and the elusive butterfly peacock bass.

The fishing was so good, we lost count of how many good ones we put in the boat. They brought in right around 40 fish, with plenty of quality fish on board. We not only caught largemouth and peacock bass but we also caught some cichilid as well.

The clouds rolled in and the bite slowed down. The sun pushed the clouds out and it became a beautiful day again. Fishing Lake Ida’s urban canals was a blast with the Bowman family. I am looking forward to them coming back again to take another Florida Freshwater Peacock Bass Fishing Adventure.
