Two Day Bass Adventure
South Florida holds some of the BEST bass fishing in the state. This time of year promotes great largemouth and peacock bass fishing. Lake Okeechobee and Lake Ida are two very popular locations for a Two Day Bass Adventure.
I had the pleasure to take out Jason and Jill on Lake Okeechobee and Lake Ida. They were excited to catch both species.
Lake Okeechobee produced a great day. The fish are biting and staying active as the water continues to drop. The biggest largemouth bass caught on that trip was 7 pounds. It was a fish they will remember.
The peacock bass fishing has been amazing as well. As it begins to get warmer, the exotic bass begin to become more active. They caught about 30 quality peacock bass on this trip and are looking forward to it again.
It is only in Florida that you fish for both species of bass in the manner we do. Do not miss out on your adventure here in South Florida.
