Lake Toho is one of the best lakes to catch bass. This time of year promotes Topwater Frog Fishing Charters that catch the largemouth bass up.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Randy, Jason, and Jake traveling from Texas. They wanted to experience the Lake Toho Bass Fishing that has been on fire lately.

Family Vacations are the best times to enjoy a fishing charter out on this big lake. Fishing on Toho is relaxing and not highly demanding.

Topwater Frog Fishing is a great technique to use this time of year. The hot air and the vast vegetation allow bass to ambush the newly hatching frogs. Throw a hollow body or moving frog along the grass edges and hold on.

The great weather also contributed to the great bite with over 25 bass in the boat. The biggest bass weighed 5 pounds 6 ounces with another quality bass weighing 3 pounds 3 ounces.

It was a great trip mixed with artificial and wild-caught shiner fishing that created a memory this family will never forget.
