October Clewiston Fishing Trip

October Clewiston Fishing Trip

Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing has been very steady in these warmer months. We are getting into our stormy season but that doesn’t stop the bass from biting on a October Clewiston Fishing Trip.

I had the pleasure of fishing with repeats of mine Nelson and his dad John. Last time they went out with me they caught a 10 pounder with a 9 pounder to back it in March.

They wanted to experience something different and come catch some bass in the summer time. It was an early morning bite and it did not last long but we managed to put some quality in the boat.

Nelson and John caught a 7 pounder with multiple 3 and 4 pound bass to go along with it. That is some great quality for this time of year.

Live bait was the most effective and we wished we had a beetle spin for the busting bluegills. It was great to see these folks and I can’t wait for them to come back during season.

Amazing fishing is right around the corner when the weather cools down. Do not miss out on your adventure while you have the chance!
