Today, I had the pleasure of fishing with Brady and Guy from Texas. They just experienced what Central Florida largemouth bass fishing with like and wanted to experience peacock bass as well. The Lake Ida Chain of Lakes has been producing some awesome trips lately.
It was their first time catch peacock bass and we started to really catch them well. Brady and his son Guy caught over 20 bass from peacock to largemouth.
The biggest largemouth weighed 5 pounds. The peacock bass weighed 4 pounds. It was a really great day out on the water. They are having someone mount the peacock bass his son loved reeling in.
