Hi, this is Capt Reno Alley with my Winter Haven fishing report.
Here is your Largemouth Bass Fishing Winter Haven Chain Central Florida report. I had the pleasure to fish with Robert and Ron on the Winter haven Chain today. It is an absolutely stunning fishery. If you are in Central Florida at all, you have to check it out.
We ran around to start off the day, trying to find the topwater bite. Some spots on the chain produce that action and some spots don’t. You really have to know where you are fishing and why.
The Chain is truly producing numbers and quality fish. We crushed them today with a multitude of techniques. The artificial bite was slightly off, but the shiners were highly effective. We caught a ton of fish with the largest being in the 5-pound range. They were catching plenty of 3 and 4 pounders as well.
