Insane Peacock Bass Fishing

I had the pleasure of fishing with Mark, Liz, Josh, and Jackie. Lake Ida was one of the places they wanted to catch peacock bass and we made it happen.
This trip was a rare one. The action was insane and the lines couldn’t stay in the water. Almost every cast yielded a fish.
The group was ecstatic about the action on the water and could not believe this was actually happening. One of the things they loved the best was the hard fight the peacock bass put up.
Lake Ida is a great place to catch bass because you can catch both peacock and largemouth. They caught right around 30 peacock bass with a 7-pound largemouth bass to top the day by Mark.
We look forward to fishing with them again in the future creating memories, one fish at a time.
