House Boat Big Bass Fishing on Lake Okeechobee in Florida

House Boat Big Bass Fishing

Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing has been picking up. Florida largemouth bass is everywhere and is feeding steadily. Now is a great opportunity to go House Boat big bass fishing right out of Clewiston, Florida.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Dave and Josh traveling from Ohio. Dave is a repeat of mine and loves to fish on Lake Okeechobee. Josh has never been to the lake and this was the perfect time to experience it.

They spent two consecutive days on the water here in Florida. We adventured out of Clewiston, Florida to House Boat Cut and the East Wall. The action was steady for both days and they landed big numbers on both days.

Dave and Josh caught over 100 largemouth bass. The biggest bass weighed 6 pounds. They also caught several 4-5 pound fish. You can’t beat the action here on Lake Okeechobee this time of year. Wild-caught live shiners were the most effective bait to throw on this fishing trip.

I am looking forward to another great time fishing with Dave and Josh in the future. Don’t miss out on your adventure to come to Florida and catch some big bass!
