Florida Fishing Crappie Charter
Hey, everybody; it’s Captain Brian here with your Lake Okeechobee fishing report.
Lake Okeechobee also offers some of the best crappie-speck fishing in the state of Florida. Delmar and Cathy were out with me this afternoon for a Florida Fishing Crappie Charter. This afternoon was practice for tomorrow’s trip.
The north end of Lake Okeechobee has been holding some quality crappie. Putting 21 really nice ones in the boat, they were ready for what the next charter would bring.
Afternoon conditions allowed us to drift through the grass slowly, with the wind blowing just right.
The second charter brought similar success. We put numbers in the boat with many fish on. Some did not get to the boat but that is okay; we will catch them next time.
We picked away at them all day using the Power Poles when necessary. It truly was a great morning, and I would advise coming down while the bite is still hot.
